Geriatric rehabilitation or geriatric physical therapy is the branch that studies rehabilitation and physical therapy issues in elderly. It involves normal aging (deconditioning), cardiovascular problems(vascular disease and stroke), and skeletal problems(osteoporosis and osteoarthritis).
In elderly patients, they face physical, social and emotional changes that can affect level of function and well-being. Geriatric rehabilitation improves functional independence. Elderly people usually needs communication and a hearing ear. 
 
In one patient only, its possible to get musculoskeletal, neurological, and cardiovascular problems may be found in a single patient.
Problems like arthritis, osteoporosis, cancer, Alzheimer’s disease, hip and joint replacement, balance disorders, incontinence, etc. comes under geriatric conditions.
